Roy is an award-winning scientist who concentrated his research in computational sciences to find a more perfect understanding of success in sport.
Training at Driveline Baseball as a pitcher in 2017 after having Tommy John surgery, Roy went on to work in engineering for Reboot Motion, Epic Sports Biomechanics, and Driveline Baseball themselves, learning from industry experts how to utilize numbers to make players the best version of themselves. This led him to start Liquid Sports Lab in November of 2020, which in turn led him to the Dallas Mavericks in 2021-2022, and the Toronto Raptors in 2022-2023, where he was the youngest to serve in his position in the league’s history. His time spent in team operations, front offices and performance biomechanics divisions has allowed him to better the quantitative process behind analytics, decision science, performance science and their corresponding outcomes.
In 2024, Roy was named to the Front Office Sports Rising 25 and became the youngest member of The Peak’s Emerging Leader List at age 24.
Liquid Sports Lab is Roy’s life work - as he helped pioneer the data & cultural shift towards numbers in sports. Companies he has worked for have so far have raised over 1.9 million dollars in funding for performance biotechnology, and he continues to build the processes for growth at Liquid Sports Lab.


Bryan is a former minor league baseball pitcher who was drafted out of D3 Ithaca College in 2008 as a result of him pushing his own athletic abilities with performance science. Bryan holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Nazareth University, a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology from SUNY Cortland, and a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Ithaca College.
After his playing career ended, Bryan received his Certified Athletic Trainer & Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certifications and spent time with Cortland Baseball as their ATC & strength coach, RIT as the Head Strength Coach for Men's & Women's Hockey and Men’s Baseball, before going on to work for the Buffalo Sabres as a sport scientist. Bryan has recently published research on cutting edge rehabilitation philosophy on knee and groin health in athletes, and spent 2024 as the U.S Olympic Team’s Physical Therapist and on-field medical professional before returning to Rochester to help build out Liquid Sports Lab.


Owen is currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at Nazareth University, where he also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and spent 4 years as a Division 1 Rugby Player. Owen is currently the Vice President of the Nazareth Performance Therapy Club, passionate about promoting health and fitness, and intends to complete his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification this winter, further enhancing his ability to support athletes.


Coach Flip is the Varsity Head Coach at Webster Schroeder and has spent more than 20 years coaching baseball in Western New York. His son Matthew Jr. was our very first client. Over three years, we took him from 76 to 92 mph and a Division I scholarship.

Nick is a graduate of SUNY Brockport, where he studied Exercise Science and Kinesiology after playing baseball at Webster Schroeder High School. He is in his second year with Liquid Sports Lab, collecting the training-floor data that powers our injury risk and performance machine learning models. Nick is currently applying to physical therapy schools and plans to pursue his DPT.

Brent graduated from the University of Rochester studying Mechanical and Optical Engineering. His main interests are in additive manufacturing and prototyping, simulation programming, and mechanical/optical system design.
Brent has had a wide variety of professional experience in the golf industry. As an athlete, he competes in amateur tournaments and receives instruction from his uncle and father - both of whom are PGA Professionals. Brent has also worked as a caddy for multiple PGA of America events and in golf course operations as a driving range and bag room attendant.
Brent's goal is to couple his multidisciplinary technical skills with his passion for golf to make significant contributions in the sports technology industry.
Brent is currently a Masters Student at Duke University and a Graduate Research Assistant of the Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) group in the BIOS Lab under Professor Adam Wax.


Paige is a graduate of Saint John Fisher College with a major in Business Finance. Her interest in finance began after being inspired by her father, who works in the financial services industry.
Growing up in Oneida, NY, she learned the value of hard work, efficiency, and communication from her parents. When she is not working, Paige enjoys creating content on social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. She has worked at Birch Wealth Management and is now full-time at Best Times Financial.


Kobe is a graduate of Gettysburg College, where he played outfield for the Bullets. He designed an individualized major through Gettysburg’s IDS program, combining courses focused on health sciences, math, physics, and photography.
Finishing with a major in Human Biomechanics, Kobe gained experience working with athletes through internships with NES Sports Strength & Conditioning and the athletic training facility at Gettysburg. He seeks to build a career in quantitative athletic performance analysis.
After Liquid Sports Lab, Kobe worked for the San Diego Padres and is currently enrolled in the Master’s program at Wake Forest University. There, he also works in the acclaimed Wake Forest Pitching Lab — an industry leader in the quantification and development of biomechanics in sport.
